Sex Education, a Realistic Answer to Teen Pregnancy? Part 2 – Sonny Lee
Talking with young men about sexual health has never been easy. But now it has become more critical than ever.
Joining us this week is Sonny Lee. Sonny is the founder of the Son of a Saint Foundation. The purpose of the organization has its roots grounded in the loss of Sonny’s father, Bivian Lee, II. Sonny took the anger and confusion he had for his father’s death and paired it with the needs he saw in the community. Son of a Saint exists to transform the lives of fatherless boys through mentorship, emotional support, development of life skills, exposure to constructive experiences, and formation of positive, lasting peer-to-peer relationships.
Our co-host is Dr. Ryan Pasternak, professor of Clinical Pediatrics at LSU Health New Orleans, directs The Southern Center for Adolescent and Young Health Equity’s, Reproductive Education and Advocacy Louisiana (REAL) Program.
